My name is Benjamin (Ben) James Stilwell Hernandez.

I am a follower of Jesus Christ, husband to Keila, father to Jeshua and Isabella, Pastor of Aldersgate United Methodist (Aldersgate.com) in Seminole, FL, an ordained Elder in the Florida Conference of the United Methodist Church (FLUMC.org), a doctoral student at Asbury Theological Seminary (asburyseminary.edu), a private pilot, and a NASCAR (nascar.com) fan.

My intention with this site is multiple: I plan on writing posts about my study of scripture, thoughts on how we can be better disciples of Jesus, a more faithful church, and thoughts on life as I see it and generally things that are of interest to write about.
